Sacred Heart Drogheda 2-11 -- 3-7 Mount Anville

Mount Anville were pipped at the post in stoppage time in their first final outing in the LGFA Junior final. Despite a resolute and proud performance, Sacred Heart Drogheda clinched a point in the 5th minute of stoppage time to secure their first title in the Leinster division.

Mount Anville, captained by midfield workhorse Ava Clancy, led at the break by 4 points, but could not hold on to their lead as fatigue and a resilient fightback by the opposing team saw Mount Anville concede at the death to deny them in their first ever LGFA final appearance. Stellar performances abounded in a thrilling final, with many lessons learned, and appetites whetted for success in the future.

The entire squad can be proud of their commitment, their contribution, but more importantly, their camaraderie in a long season.
