We strive to ignite within each student a love and passion for the English language and literature. Our students develop a comprehensive range of language skills and concepts necessary for the 21st century. We are committed to mixed ability teaching and accommodate the needs of all learning styles by using a variety of methodologies.
We work closely with the Literacy Committee and the school's librarian. Essay writing competitions, reading initiatives, theatre outings, and talks from visiting authors all complement the syllabus and greatly enrich and enhance our students' experience of English at second level.
