Benevolent Committee Talk to Sixth Year Students

We were delighted to welcome Phoebe and Rosie, representatives of the Benevolent Committee, to our school. They spoke to Sixth Year students about the invaluable work carried out by the Committee in supporting past pupils through kindness, compassion, and care.

Their presentation offered a meaningful insight into how the Benevolent Committee continues to make a real difference in the lives of members of our school community long after they have left Mount Anville. Through a range of supports, the Committee ensures that past pupils facing challenges are not alone, reinforcing the strong sense of connection and solidarity that defines our Sacred Heart school spirit.

Phoebe and Rosie provided examples of the Committee’s work, highlighting the importance of empathy and generosity in building a supportive network that extends far beyond the classroom. Their message encouraged students to appreciate the lifelong community they are part of and the role each person can play in looking out for others.

We would like to sincerelythank Phoebe and Rosie for such an informative and insightful presentation. We are also grateful for the beautiful cards featuring illustrations of the Mount Anville campus, as well as the delicious cookie treats, both of which were greatly appreciated by our Sixth Year students.
