Today, October 20th, we join as part of the Sacred Heart international community celebrating this special Feast Day.
The Feast of Mater Admirabilis, which translates to "Mother Most Admirable" is the title of a representation of Our Lady as a young girl wearing pink.
The painting depicts a young, contemplative Mary with a distaff and spindle, an open book at her feet portraying a calm and reflective presence. We look to Mary as a faith role model for us to emulate in our lives.
