Huge congratulations to TY students Elaine McSwiney and Emma Cheung and 3rd year students Qiaobing (Cindy) Qing and Zihui (Ariana) Zhou who won the All Ireland final of the IAMTA Junior Problem Solving competition over the weekend. The girls qualified for this final having won the South Dublin regional round and competed against 24 other regional winners in the National final. They emerged as the winners with an amazing score of 44/48, missing only two questions in a truly challenging quiz. Well done girls, we are all so proud of you.
The competitions are not over yet for Ariana and Cindy who are competing in the IMTA Pi Quiz final this Saturday with their teammate Athena Wu. We wish them the best of luck.
