The Leinster Schools Swimming Championships took place in the National Aquatic Centre on Sunday 8th February, where our team of six strong swimmers looked to battle it out in the water. The girls put in an excellent effort with personal best times along with 3 medals overall, silver in the 100m breaststroke and bronze in the 100m freestyle for Abril Allende and gold for Juliet Cotter in the 100m backstroke. This along with two narrow 4th place finishes in the 15-16 freestyle relays showcased the fantastic ability amongst our swimmers in Mount Anville.
