Today we were delighted to welcome staff and students from Gonzaga College to Mount Anville House for a teaching and learning collaboration. Members of the Chadwick 5 Religious Education class engaged in Socratic Circles with Fifth Year students from Gonzaga College. The purpose of the session was to engage in philosophical dialogue to foster intellectual humility, promote critical thinking, and encourage students to examine their own beliefs and assumptions. The session allowed students to actively explore complex ideas rather than simply being presented with information. It encouraged students to question their own assumptions and remain open to alternative viewpoints, fostering intellectual humility and self-awareness.
