Our Transition Year students participated in a retreat entitled A Pilgrim’s Path. Blessed with the glorious weather, the year group accompanied by Ms Fitzgerald, Ms Maher and Mr Poulton embarked together on a walking retreat in Dublin City Centre.
The retreat led by Anita and Bernie, members of the I Am Retreat Team involved visiting significant Churches including Newman University Church, St. Andrew’s and St. Teresa’s.
Throughout the retreat, the students were encouraged to pray, reflect and become aware of how they can encounter times of quiet and stillness in life. The retreat experience was an invitation for the group to engage in exploring the historical and cultural significance of places of worship. Each student received a reflective pilgrim journal and also a blessed crucifix from Medjugorje.
