Transition Year Retreat

13-November-24

On November 13, 2024 Transition Year students participated in a retreat led by The An Tobar Nua team. The day focused on themes of religious belief, faith expression in action and providing students with the opportunity to learn about skills of resilience in dealing with life challenges. Team-building exercises, games, music, discussion, prayer and reflection played a key part in the retreat.

Positive faith role models were explored with students such as Olympic boxer, Katie Taylor who reminds us to “Be strong and brave. Do not be afraid and don’t panic for I, the Lord your God am with you in all that you do.” (Joshua 1:9).

We commend Transition Year students for their positive energy throughout the retreat and engagement
