Junior A Basketball team reached the finals of the South Dublin League. They were up against a very strong side from Loreto Dalkey. They were captained by Jessica Tierney and Molly Conway. The Mount Anville girls won the final 38 points to 20. Lindsay Brown received a trophy for player of the league. Well done girls.
The Minor A Basketball team have had a very busy and impressive season. They reached two finals both South Dublin League and Basketball Ireland Leinster league.
The girls faced a very physical side from Rathdown. Supporters and parents cheered the girls to a one point victory through a nail biting game. The final score being 26-25. What a fantastic achievement becoming winners of the Basketball Ireland League. Well done.
Second came the South Dublin League verse Holy Child Killiney. The girls won their second title with the final score being 26-18. Aine Roche recieved a very well deserved trophy for player of the tournament. She showed natural skill and ability and was unstoppable on the court.
