Wednesday May 15th

  • Student photos all day
  • Collation of media for graduation ceremony
  • Closing date for submission of e-portfolio, and final attempts at ECDL
  • 19:30 Information evening for students, parents, and guardians pertaining to the TY Trip to Krakow (see previous invite)

Thursday May 16th

  • All day - Interhouse athletics competitions and Sports Day

Friday May 17th

  • 10:10 – Practice for all students for TY Graduation
  • 19:30 – Transition Year Graduation Ceremony (see previous invite)

Monday May 20th

  • Optional trip to Tayto Park for interested TY students. Please add your name before 9am Friday morning to the attached form https://tinyurl.com/tytaytoto register so that accurate numbers can be catered for.
  • Precise details regarding logistics to be given to registered students on Friday once numbers are confirmed, but general overview is to assemble at Busáras Monday morning at 09:00 to make way to the park, and return to the same location for 15:00.

Tuesday May 21st

Optional workshop in Mount Anville regarding Sustainable Fashion o10:00 – 11:00 Introduction and information pertaining to sustainable fashion, upcycling, mending damaged clothes etc.

  • 11:15 – 13:00 Film pertaining to sustainability
  • 14:00 – 15:20 DIY Denim Workshop – creative workshop where attendees are shown how to up-style existing clothes by painting, embroidering etc. Students should bring one item of denim they wish to upcycle.

Wednesday May 22nd

 No school for TY

Thursday May 23rd

 Optional Barista Course 09:00-15:30

Today, students from classes Barat, Duchesne and Croft attended retreat in the De la Salle centre. Accompanied by Ms Blayney and Ms Fitzgerald, the group embraced themselves wholeheartedly in the day.
