Other Information
Groundlings Please see attached letter pertaining to the Mount Anville theatre-going society The Groundlings. We encourage our busy TY cohort to engage with the dramatic arts in this venture and to engage in extra-curricular opportunities which may appeal to them.

First Friday Mass On behalf of our Chaplain, Mr. Mallon, and all here at Mount Anville, we cordially invite all parents to attend our TY first Friday mass in the chapel on Friday 4th Oct @ 09:30. This is a great opportunity to witness the lived ethos of the school, and to build our sense of community between parents, students, and staff.
Junior Cycle Results Please see attached letter from Ms. Caffrey outlining our aims with regards to the presentation of Junior Cycle results. Please note that there will be a further Junior Cycle Profile of Achievement ceremony, to which parents are invited, which will take place later on in the year.
End of Block 1 We enter the final week of block 1 this week. Students should have all assignments completed in good time to ensure that they are not under excessive pressure with regards to deadlines. I will outline the reporting procedure for these results in next week’s communication.
Insurance Forms The updated insurance forms have arrived. Many thanks to all those who have waited patiently for our updated policy. To those I placed on the long finger, if you contact me again, it would be most appreciated.
Minimed 2 students have been chosen from MTA for the Minimed programme in RCSI. Interested students were asked to express in a 200 word essay their rationale for selection to the programme. From these entries, a shortlist was constructed, and a random selection of the final number was made. We would love to be able to nominate all of the applying students, but unfortunately, this was not to be. I am sure that the 2 chosen students will represent our entire cohort with dignity, grace, and passion.
