History

All students are taught History at Junior Cycle. The course covers Ancient Civilisations – from Celts and Romans up to 20^th Century European and Irish History. History is also taught as part of the TY programme and offered as a Leaving Certificate subject in Senior Cycle. Students in the Senior Cycle study Ireland and Europe / U.S. History in the 20^th Century.

All History teachers are members of H.T.A.I. – History Teachers Association of Ireland.
