What does the exchange programme entail?

  • It is a reciprocal school exchange between Sacred Heart Schools. Reciprocal – the student visits our school, and our student pays a return
  • The exchange student becomes another ‘member’ of your family and of the Mount Anville school community.
  • Exchanges occur for between two and four weeks.
  • It is a ‘Sacred Heart school’ exchange -the bulk of the exchange will occur during school time and students are expected to participate fully in the life of the school
  • It is a ‘family’ exchange - visiting students are expected to become fully involved with family life, including chores…
  • It is a ‘cultural’ exchange – students are expected to embrace the different cultural experiences offered them

Where do the students go?

  • There are over 150 Sacred Heart school in over 40 countries throughout the world, however, not all school are involved in International Exchanges
  • As we are only involved in reciprocal exchanges there needs to be a student/family in the International School who is interested in visiting Mount Anville and who is willing to host a student.
